Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong book of self-generated business.
  
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners.
  
• Guide clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice and support.
  
• Analyze clients’ financial information to determine loan eligibility.
  
• Present appropriate loan programs and financing options based on clients’ needs.
  
• Attend industry events, community functions, and networking opportunities to expand professional relationships.
  
• Actively participate in local organizations and community activities to increase visibility and generate new business leads.
  
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of loan applications.
  
• Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with clients throughout the loan process.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to help facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage process.
  
• Address client questions, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  
• Build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.
  

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer with a demonstrated track record of success.
  
• Active NMLS license and strong knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations.
  
• Proven ability to generate and close mortgage loans.
  
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan programs and products.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
  
• Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
