As an HR Business Partner supporting our Engineering & Technology organization, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping drive talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement across a highly technical workforce. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions, develop future leaders, and deliver HR solutions that support mission‑critical programs. What You Will Be Doing: Partner with Engineering & Technology leaders to develop and implement talent, performance, promotion, and workforce strategies aligned with business objectives Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations matters, organizational effectiveness, and leadership coaching Drive initiatives focused on talent development, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, and succession planning Collaborate with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated talent, compensation, learning, and workforce solutions Analyze workforce data, trends, and key metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support business goals Identify workforce risks, capability gaps, and organizational opportunities, developing strategies to address current and future business needs Coach leaders on performance management, team effectiveness, and organizational change initiatives Help foster a high‑performing workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR practices Support workforce planning efforts to ensure the organization is positioned to meet evolving business and talent demands Benefits: Lockheed Martin offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees’ health, wellness, and financial security. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Experience in HR systems with a solid understanding of HR policies and procedures Demonstrated knowledge of HR disciplines, employment and labor laws, and basic HR philosophies Skilled in effectively engaging with employees and leaders at all organizational levels Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship building skills Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity, urgency, and confidentiality in all matters Desired Skills: Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) Minimum of 3 years of experience in various HR competencies Experience in employee relations and conducting investigations Experience in functional HR such as Compensation, Labor Relations, Staffing, or HRIS Familiarity with SAP Human Capital Management system Knowledge of Organization Design and Effectiveness Clearance Level: None Experience Level: Experienced Professional Relocation Available: Possible Business Unit: AERONAUTICS COMPANY Career Area: Human Resources Type: Full-Time Shift: First Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
