Fulltime NIGHTS 36 hours per week.

Pay Range:

$44.15 - $66.25

Where You Will Work:

The Pediatric and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte is a secure acute care psychiatric unit providing 24/7 stabilization and treatment for patients experiencing serious mental health conditions. This unit serves patients typically ages 517 who require a higher level of care due to safety concerns such as suicidal ideation self-harm behaviors psychosis severe mood disorders or behavioral dysregulation.

Were Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (preferred)
• Previous management experience (preferred)
• Behavioral Health Pediatric Experience and Supervisor Experience.
• BSN required
  • Candidates hired or promoted without a BSN must:
    • Enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer
    • Complete the BSN program within 3 years of enrollment
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines
• Professional certification (clinical or leadership) required within 1 year of eligibility for the certification exam
• Additional education training certifications or experience may be required by the departments nurse leader

What Youll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe therapeutic care in accordance with established standards policies and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice clinical decision making compassion and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
