Accounting Manager

Client Overview: Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a multi-location organization and sit out of their corporate office. Salary/Hourly Rate: $90k - $108k Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will provide leadership and oversight to staff across multiple locations. A candidate with prior public accounting or multi-entity accounting experience is highly preferred. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, internal audits, budgeting processes, and system compliance, while also serving as a mentor to a team of accounting professionals. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager: Lead monthly closing processes and ensure accurate, timely financial transactions. Supervise the preparation of financial statements and pro forma reports in compliance with US GAAP. Analyze financial results and investigate variances. Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory and procedural compliance. Assess internal control systems and recommend improvements. Provide ongoing leadership and development for the Finance teams across venues. Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager: Prior public accounting or multi-entity accounting experience. Prior experience supervising accounting professionals. Background in multi-location financial operations and consolidations. Familiarity with internal controls, audits, and compliance practices.
