Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; observe for adverse reactions and document responses. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, case management) to coordinate care and plan for safe discharge. Document patient status, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record with accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and adherence to hospital policies; respond promptly to calls and emergencies. Ensure clear handoffs between shifts and continuity of care for all assigned patients. Requirements Active California RN license. American Heart Association BLS certification. Recent Med/Surg nursing experience. Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts (07:00–19:30). Education: graduate from an approved nursing program (RN).
