Compensation Specialist

Position Overview As a Compensation Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our pay programs are competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational goals. Work Locations Lewis Road Administrative Building, Binghamton, NY; Remote; Johnson City, NY 13790. The role may require travel across UHS facilities. Primary Work Shift & Hours Shift: Day. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Compensation Range $27.80 - $41.69 per hour, depending on experience. What You’ll Do Create and maintain job profiles in Workday, including responsibilities and pay details. Conduct market analysis to keep UHS compensation programs competitive. Participate in compensation surveys and assist in analyzing results. Support annual compensation programs, including performance management, salary increases, and incentive programs. Education & Experience Minimum Required: Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field; 3‑5 years of HR/compensation experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; experience in healthcare. Certification & Licensing Preferred: CCP Certification (Compensation Professional); SHRM‑CP, PHR.
