Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Overnight Supervisor (2 Openings) Onsite | St. Petersburg, FL HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled Registered Nurses for a Weekend Overnight Supervisor opportunity with one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this clinical leadership role. This position is designed for an experienced RN who can confidently lead overnight operations, support nursing teams, and ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality patient care in a long‑term care environment. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and supervision during overnight weekend shifts Act as the primary on‑site clinical authority for patient care and urgent situations Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational care standards Support and mentor nursing staff, reinforcing accountability and teamwork Monitor patient conditions and ensure timely clinical interventions Coordinate communication with on‑call providers and leadership teams Assist with staffing coverage and operational continuity during shifts Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Required Qualifications (Highly Important) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida Proven experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or nursing home settings Strong clinical judgment and ability to operate independently overnight Demonstrated ability to manage patient care in a fast‑paced clinical environment Effective communication and problem‑solving skills Stable and consistent employment history Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued) Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience (minimum 1 year preferred) Experience leading nursing teams during off‑shift hours Strong leadership presence with ability to guide and mentor staff Familiarity with regulatory compliance in skilled nursing environments HireNow Disqualifiers Jumpy or unstable employment history No experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or inpatient settings No active RN license in Florida Limited ability to lead or support nursing teams independently Weak communication or decision‑making skills in clinical environments HireNow Checklist Recruiting candidates who align with the following: Licensed RN with strong clinical foundation in long‑term care Experience supporting or leading nursing teams in clinical settings Confident decision‑maker during overnight or low‑support hours Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to operate independently while maintaining quality care standards Consistent and stable work history Standout Candidates Include: RNs with prior supervisory or charge nurse experience Nurses comfortable managing operations without carrying a patient load Candidates experienced in larger facilities (100+ beds) Clinicians who demonstrate leadership, accountability, and initiative HireNow Package Compensation: $32.00 – $38.00/hour base + $4/hour supervisor premium Location: Onsite in St. Petersburg, FL Schedule: Every other weekend | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Additional Earnings: Option to pick up Staff RN shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Full benefits eligibility after 60 days PTO and additional earning opportunities Stable, consistent weekend schedule HireNow Staffing Disclaimer All candidate information is handled confidentially and evaluated against defined requirements.
