Physical Therapist - Travel Position

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, every other weekend is required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a travel position at a new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience and be passionate about delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Deliver daily treatments including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training.
• Ensure that patients meet their 3-hour therapy requirement in Inpatient Rehabilitation.
• Track treatment time and charges to ensure compliance with therapy requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care Physical Therapist experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting and neuro certification/experience is preferred.
