This role is focused on Building Information Modeling (BIM) delivery within HDR\'s Building Engineering Services Group, supporting the design and delivery of critical infrastructure for the digital age. Responsibilities Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced Work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team Maintain quality by monitoring the model health and coordination processes of the project, from planning through issue of construction documents Execute tasks autonomously and mentor other team members Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute project requirements Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models to meet discipline and project requirements Monitor and maintain company standards and model health Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange processes at predetermined milestones Project archiving at submittals and closeout Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients Mentor staff to help develop their skillsets and provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance Preferred Qualifications Vertical Building Design experience in Revit in the Architecture and Engineering Industry US Citizenship is required due to client contractual requirements Required Qualifications Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure Advanced skillset in 3D coordination tools Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications Familiar with content creation and management concepts Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and leadership traits Strong organizational skills to establish priorities between technical support requests and project work Enthusiastic, energetic, and strong work ethic Our Commitment: HDR is committed to creating an inclusive environment where employee-owners are welcomed, valued, respected and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work every day.
