Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care during childbirth and postpartum periods. The nurse will work in a high-acuity environment, handling laboring patients and supporting their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor laboring patients, ensuring safe and effective delivery processes.
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress, vital signs, and clinical observations accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout labor and delivery.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements during all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license with current licensure in the state.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in labor and delivery or a comparable high-acuity environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation and workflows.
• Successfully pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
• Be flexible to float across multiple campuses as needed; local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
