Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Non-CDL Yard Jockey / Truck Operator for a local logistics and warehouse client in the Savannah area.

$18.00/hr
Full-Time

We are looking for a reliable Yard Jockey / Non-CDL Truck Operator to safely move trailers within a warehouse yard and support daily shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:
• Move and position trailers within the yard and loading docks
• Support shipping and receiving operations
• Perform basic trailer inspections and report damage
• Communicate with warehouse and dispatch teams
• Ensure safe and efficient yard organization
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:
• Previous yard jockey or warehouse driving experience
• Clean 3-year MVR
• Ability to safely operate yard trucks/trailer spotters
• Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed
• Successful drug screen
• Must meet background screening requirements
