Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report detailing its condition. * Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries. * Operate the tractor-trailer to reach destinations, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills. * Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. * Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations. * Perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate: * Must be at least 21 years old. * Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). * Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience. * Meet our organization's MVR and risk rating standards. * This role requires proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively and safely perform job-related tasks, including comprehending work instructions, safety protocols, and essential communications.
