Job is located in Chicago, Onsite Hybrid

Your Role

Responsibilities :

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
Create robust automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript Automate UI API and end-to-end test scenarios
Execute regression smoke sanity and functional test suites
Integrate automation suites with CICD pipelines
Analyse test results identify defects and work closely with development teams for resolution
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives
Develop reusable utilities and automation components to improve testing efficiency
Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

Strong handson experience with Playwright
Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
Experience in web application automation testing
Knowledge of API testing using Playwright Postman or REST Assured
Good understanding of HTML CSS DOM and browser debugging tools
Experience with Git GitHub Azure DevOps or Bitbucket
Experience working in AgileScrum environments
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle STLC and Defect Life Cycle"

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 81000 - 90000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
