Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is dedicated to creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are actively seeking a reliable part-time Custodian who takes pride in maintaining a well-kept facility and understands the important role a clean environment plays in supporting children, families, and educators. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable and committed to helping our early learning community succeed. POSITION DETAIL: Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI Regular, part-time (20-25 hours/week) Schedule: Evenings Monday-Thursday 6p-10p, plus one 4-hour shift on the weekend Friday, Saturday or Sunday Pay starting at $16/hour RESPONSIBILITIES Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash daily. Clean, scrub, and sanitize garbage cans that are soiled. Ensure all containers of poisonous or toxic chemicals are clearly labelled and stored away from child areas. Clean and stock restrooms daily. Nightly; sanitize tables, chairs, counters, bookshelves, floors, sinks, and toilets. Must follow OSHA procedures and licensing standards for handling of chemicals and toxic materials. Check and dust for cobwebs daily Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED is required. Having previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
