Speech Pathology - Alexandria, VA

This position offers a full-time schedule during the academic year, providing critical services in dynamic educational settings across Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge. What we're seeking:

• Valid and current Virginia SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
• Experience in school settings preferred, with a passion for educational impact
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Commitment to onsite work; remote options are currently unavailable

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and identifying communication needs through standardized and informal evaluations
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for students
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participating in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student support teams
• Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure student success

Assignment dates are August 17th, 2026 through June 12th, 2027, for 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), perfectly aligning with the school calendar and holidays.
