Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Manage daily shop workflow, including scheduling, repair order (RO) flow, and maintaining equipment.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high CSI scores by handling customer complaints professionally and ensuring timely vehicle repairs.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, motivate, and mentor service advisors and technicians.
• Financial Performance: Meet or exceed departmental goals for profitability, labor sales, and service volume.
• Manufacturer Compliance: Adhere to Nissan warranty policies, procedures, and recall campaigns.
• Safety and Standards: Enforce safety regulations (OSHA) and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• Requirements
• Experience: Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably 1-3 + years in an automotive dealership.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repair, diagnostics, and service procedures.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS), and scheduling tools like Xtime.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and motivational skills.

• Salary: Positions often offer competitive compensation, with some specialized listings ranging from $80,000 to $120,000+ per year, depending on experience and performance.
