Anesthesia Technician

Your future role at a glance Location: Kyle, Texas Facility: Ascension Seton Hays Department/Specialty: Anesthesiology Schedule: Full time | Day shift | Monday-Friday 6:30 am-3:00pm |no call requirement at this time may change in the future How you'll make an impact in this role Clean, sterilize, and set up all anesthesia equipment and supplies to ensure a safe, sterile environment for patient care. Assist licensed providers with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, airway management, and the insertion of intravenous and invasive lines. Prepare for scheduled, urgent, and emergent surgical procedures by ensuring all required equipment is functional, available, and correctly positioned. Perform daily maintenance on all anesthesia equipment and actively troubleshoot technical malfunctions to minimize downtime. Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of clinical supplies and equipment to ensure seamless daily department operations. What minimum qualifications you'll need High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
