Job Description Urgent Care Vet Panama City is an after-hours animal hospital near the Hathaway Bridge. We are open evenings, weekends, and holidays, when everyone else is closed. This is not a medical position. You will not handle animals or take vitals — our clinical team does that. Your work is to run the front of the house so that they can stay with the patients. On a shift you would: Greet families and their pets, and keep them informed while they wait Answer phones and route anything urgent to the clinical team immediately Check clients and their pets in and manage accurate details Take payments and answer financing questions Print and explain discharge paperwork and handouts Schedule referrals, complete follow-up conversations, and keep records in good order Maintain reception and lobby spaces for pleasant client experience Who does well here: you are organized, you are calm, you are kind to people who are having a hard night, and you can hold several things at once without dropping any of them. Customer service, front desk, hospitality, and medical reception experience all transfer. We will tell you honestly: families arrive frightened, and sometimes their pet does not survive. You will be the first person they see and often the last. That is a real part of this work, and we will not pretend otherwise. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. We bridge the gap between general practice and full emergency care, offering same-day treatment and staffed overnight hospitalization. We accept walk-ins after hours and on weekends, triaging our patients based on acuity.
