Pharmacy Technician

Equity Staffing Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a leading Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in Morrisville, North Carolina. Location Morrisville, NC Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00a- 4:30p Every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support pharmacy operations by preparing and processing prescription orders for long-term care patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians to ensure medications are filled accurately, inventory is maintained, and orders are completed on schedule. Key Responsibilities Prepare prescription orders by reviewing and verifying prescription information Retrieve medications from inventory accurately and efficiently Apply prescription labels to medication packaging and verify accuracy Scan, organize, and assemble medications into designated bins for distribution Maintain productivity while meeting established quality and accuracy standards Monitor medication inventory and communicate inventory shortages or replenishment needs Remove expired or discontinued medications from inventory Mark opened medication bottles appropriately and maintain organized inventory storage Restock pharmacy supplies and medications as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow Follow all company policies and procedures along with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations Support additional pharmacy operations and duties as assigned Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License Active PTCB or NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification Previous pharmacy experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience #indnitph #J-18808-Ljbffr
