About the Role:

NBC Orthodontics Incorporated is looking for a passionate and skilled Orthodontic Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team in Georgetown, TX! Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during patient examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances including brackets, bands, and archwires
• Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans (iTero/3D imaging)
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment progress
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Texas
• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
• Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and intraoral scans
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and instruments
• Excellent chairside manner with a patient-centered, compassionate approach
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
