Lead Cable Technician Waterford, CT (Overnight Shift)Pay: $25.00 per hourMUST:Experienced lead cable technician must have experience leading or managing a teamMust have extensive rack install experience and wiringMust have positive/go-getter attitudeMust have some exposure/experience with cable/telecom/ethernet fieldWilling to assist the site lead with many tasksComfortable with working outdoorsAbility to work in small spacesAbility to lift 40+ lbsMust have reliable transportationDUTIES:Provide excellent customer service always. Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure. Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic. Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method. Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards. Ensuring all cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled. Installation of cabling support components such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Installation IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras, wireless, etc... Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. Troubleshoot device and or cabling issues. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations.Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
