Maintenance Technician

Role and Responsibilities
• Repair and/or rebuild shop equipment as required
• Maintain equipment on a preventative schedule
• Build equipment as required
• Perform construction projects as required
• Address issues by other departments as required
• Maintain paperwork as required
• Perform other duties as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma required. Working experience in industrial maintenance required.
Preferred Skills
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, welding and refrigeration maintenance and repair
• Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to handle extreme heat
• Must have superior problem solving skills
• Must be able to perform tasks in a safe and timely manner
• Must be able to come to work on time each day
