Automotive Installation Technician

Mod Industries is hiring an experienced, reliable Automotive Tire and Aftermarket Installer.

We are one of Hawaiʻi’s premier aftermarket automotive shops specializing in wheels, tires, suspension, lift kits, truck accessories, and vehicle customization.

Automotive experience is required. We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working on vehicles, and ready to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Experience We're Looking For

• Mounting and balancing tires
• Operating a tire machine
• Wheels and tire installation
• Suspension work
• Lift and leveling kit installation
• Aftermarket accessory installation

You do not need to know every type of installation. Additional training will be provided, but applicants must already have hands-on automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Install wheels, tires, suspension, lift kits, and aftermarket accessories
• Mount, balance, and rotate tires
• Install running boards, bed covers, lighting, bumpers, and other accessories
• Perform basic vehicle inspections
• Complete installations accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Properly handle customer vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory
• Work with other technicians to complete jobs on schedule

Requirements

• Previous hands-on automotive experience - Tire Machine, Mounting, Balancing
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable mounting and balancing tires
• Some suspension experience (preferred)
• Strong mechanical ability (preferred)
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Previous tire shop, automotive shop, dealership, suspension, or aftermarket installation experience is strongly preferred.
