Surgery - General Physician

Locums General Surgery coverage in New Hampshire with 24 hour call blocks for holiday coverage, inpatient setting, and an endoscopy heavy caseload requiring recent procedural volume.

Highlights:

• Holiday block coverage, two defined coverage blocks
• 24 hour call structure with an easy call schedule
• No supervision requirements

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient general surgery coverage
• All ages, includes office based general surgery for all ages
• Appendectomies primarily adults, occasionally ages 10 to 18, infrequent case by case ages 5 to 10
• Support staff includes a Medical Assistant

Schedule:

• 24 hour call coverage
• Two holiday coverage blocks, one 7 days and one 10 days

Cases and Procedures:

• Endoscopy heavy caseload
• Colonoscopy volume required in the past 12 months, at least 100 including 20 polypectomies
• EGD volume required in the past 12 months, at least 25

Requirements:

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified, Surgery
• Active New Hampshire license required, will not wait for license
