Fuel Station AttendantA Day in the Life:As a Fuel Station Attendant, your day is centered around keeping the station running smoothly while creating a positive experience for customers. You're often the first point of contact as customers fuel up or stop in for quick purchases, handling transactions and answering questions while keeping interactions efficient and friendly.Another part of the role is keeping the station clean, stocked, and ready throughout the day. You'll complete safety checks, restock supplies, and maintain the inside and outside areas so everything stays in working order. Between customer interaction, deliveries, and daily upkeep, the role always runs on a full tank, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast-paced environment.What you bring to the table:Customer Interaction Skills: Clear, friendly communication during transactions and customer assistanceTransaction Handling: Processing purchases accurately using cash registers and payment systemsAttention to Detail: Accuracy in handling payments, inventory counts, and daily checksOrganization & Time Management: Managing tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and monitoring station activitySafety Awareness: Following procedures related to fuel handling, equipment checks, and site safetyInventory Awareness: Restocking merchandise and monitoring supply levels throughout the shiftOperational Awareness: Following company policies, audits, and daily station proceduresAdaptability: Comfort handling changing customer flow and varying tasks throughout the dayEnvironment Readiness: Maintaining clean indoor and outdoor areas, including restrooms and fueling spacesPhysical Capability: Comfort with standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs., and working in outdoor weather conditionsRequirements:Must be 18 years of age or olderPrior customer service or retail experience preferredAbility to operate cash registers and payment systemsBasic math skills required for transactions and cash handlingAbility to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standardsWhy you will choose us:Albertsons Companies Inc. has always been a people-oriented business, and thoughtful people practices remain a core element of our company's philosophy.
