Position Summary Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory management, budgeting and sales forecasting, and assessment of economic trends and community needs. Models and enforces proper CustomerMember service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints and issues within Company guidelines. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, conducting safety, operational and quality assurance reviews, developing performance improvement action plans, and guiding execution of Company programs and strategic initiatives. Provides supervision, hire, training, mentoring, duty assignment and recognition, promoting a belonging mindset. Provides quality eyewear service by consulting with members, educating on product selection, measuring, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repairs and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies and suggesting resolutions. Coordinates job-related activities and assignments, maintains relationships with key stakeholders, supports plans to meet customer and business needs, communicates goals, builds accountability, measures progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and promotes continuous learning. Leads compliance with policies, supports mission values, ethics and integrity, fosters a culture of belonging, teamwork, attracts and retains talent, acts with integrity, and serves customers and members while delivering results. Qualifications Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $22.50 - $32.50. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, Regional Pay Zone based on location.
