Job Title: Skilled Commercial & Residential Construction Tradesperson / Field Associate

LaborMax Staffing is looking for reliable, skilled, and versatile construction field personnel. Whether your specialty is framing, masonry, site cleanup, or specialized trade support, we have immediate openings for hands-on, high-paying field roles. This position is strictly for dedicated hands-on field workers who take pride in physical craftsmanship and daily output— no supervisory or crew-lead duties required.

About the Role:

You will support daily field operations by applying your specific trade skill set or assisting tradesmen on active commercial and residential jobsites. Depending on your experience and daily site assignments, your responsibilities will span across multiple trade disciplines.

Key Trade Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation & General Field Support: Maintain clear, hazard-free work environments by removing scrap wood, metal, and debris; manage dust control, dig contour trenches, install geotextile erosion fabric, drive stakes, and perform soil compaction.
• Material Handling & Logistics: Safely unload, stage, and distribute construction materials, heavy block, concrete, lumber, and steel across the site to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Metal Stud & Wood Framing: Read and interpret jobsite drawings and layout marks; measure, cut, assemble, and secure heavy-gauge or drywall-gauge metal studs, tracks, joists, and structural wood frames using pneumatic tools, screw guns, and specialized fasteners.
• Masonry & Mason Tending: Mix mortar, grout, and concrete to proper consistency; stage block, brick, and stone for masons; wash and strike joints; assist with setting blocks, pouring footers, and cleaning masonry surfaces.
• Drywall & Sheathing Installation: Measure, score, cut, and hang drywall, insulation, plasterboard, and exterior sheathing on metal and wood frames; drill access points for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins.
• Equipment & Tool Operation: Safely operate trade hand tools, power tools (chop saws, rotary hammers, grinders, screw guns), and light compaction equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

What We Are Looking For:

• Hands-On Expertise: Experience in one or more construction trades (General Labor, Metal Stud Framing, Rough Carpentry, Masonry/Tending, Drywall, or Site Demo/Prep).
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including lifting, carrying, and bending.
• Reliability & Safety First: Punctual, dependable attendance and strict adherence to jobsite safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE), and OSHA standards.
• Direction-Driven: Ability to follow blue-prints, trade specs, and verbal instructions cleanly and execute tasks independently without needing to manage others.
