Job Description Medical Assistant – OB/GYN Private Practice For Her Health SC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing, patient-centered OB/GYN practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care by supporting both our clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, friendly, and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient. Schedule & Benefits One convenient office location No weekends Office Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM Medical Assistants are assigned a consistent schedule, with flexibility to adjust or cover additional shifts when needed. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Collect and accurately document medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR) Administer vaccines and injections Perform phlebotomy Triage patient phone calls and communicate appropriately with providers Notify patients of test results and respond to patient messages Process prescription refill requests Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms Assist with ordering and maintaining medical and office supplies Support providers with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficiency with Epic EMR systems is preferred Reliable, professional, and committed to outstanding patient care Willingness to maintain flexibility in scheduling and assist the team as practice needs evolve If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive private practice where you can make a meaningful difference in women's health, we encourage you to apply.
