Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a P roduction Equipment Maintenance Technician (Level B or C) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team working in  North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift!

Primary Responsibilities:

\n
• \n

  Performs maintenance on factory equipment.

\n
• \n

  Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

\n
• \n

  Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.

\n
• \n

  Responds to requests for equipment repair.

\n
• \n

  Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.

\n
• \n

  Works under limited supervision.

\n

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

\n
• \n

  Must have the ability to work variable shifts (first, second, or third) based on business needs.

\n
• \n

  1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.

\n
• \n

  1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics (preferably electrical, mechanical and pneumatic).

\n
• \n

  1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters.

\n
• \n

  1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

\n

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

\n
• \n

  3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

\n
• \n

  3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

\n
• \n

  3+ years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

\n
• \n

  3+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley.

\n
• \n

  3+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley).

\n

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range level B: $59,000 - $65,000​

Summary pay range level C: $61,200 - $68,000​
