Special Events Paramedic

Job Details Part‑time position in the Operations Department, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. Position Summary Are you looking to be part of a fun fast paced environment? Essential Duties and Responsibilities Current Paramedic Basic skills and abilities Delivers high quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols and company policies Completes all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy Reports all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the Lead Paramedic or Supervisor Maintains a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniform standards Other duties as defined Physical Requirements Must be able to successfully pass the Physical Agility Test Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition that would not be adversely affected by frequently having to walk, stand, lift, carry and balance at times Must be able to lift, drag, hoist and carry different types of equipment and other objects Education / Certifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (GED) CA Driver’s License State of California Paramedic License CPR Card – American Heart Association only, handwritten cards not acceptable ICS courses: IS-100B (ICS 100) IS-200B (ICS 200) IS-700A (NIMS) IS-800B (NIMS) ACLS Card – American Heart Association only, handwritten cards not acceptable PALS – American Heart Association only, handwritten cards not acceptable Salary Range $25.00 (applies to 12‑hour shift and averages 42 per week) EEO Statement Global Medical Response and its family of companies are an Equal Opportunity Employer, which includes supporting veterans and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with a disability.
