Accountant (AP or AR exp. req'd, 30 hrs/week, contract-to-hire)

Job Title: Accountant Job Type: Contract, with potential for direct-hire Contract Length: 6 months to 1 yr Location: Sunnyvale, CA, 100% on-site Work Schedule: 30 hrs/week Pay Rate: $34-$36/hr. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable and daily accounting transactions. Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process. Maintain prepaids, fixed assets, and account reconciliations. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts. Assist with financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting records. Help improve accounting processes and internal controls. Collaborate with leadership on day-to-day financial operations. Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of General Accounting experience. Accounts Payable experience (preferred) or Accounts Receivable experience. Experience with Bill.com, Divvy, Veracross, and/or Xero Cloud software (nice-to-have). Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
