*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight to our customers. As a CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances and ensuring timely deliveries. Trips are mainly from Brownsville to Houston and back with a minimum of 2 trips per week.
* Follow designated routes for delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
* Ensure the secure transport of goods by properly securing loads before departure. *Qualifications* * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driver experience.
* Ability to lift heavy loads as required during loading and unloading processes.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
