The Opportunity We’re seeking an enthusiastic and service-minded individual to join us as a Teller. This is more than a transaction-based role. You’ll be one of the first friendly faces our members meet at our new branch, playing an important part in building connections and bringing our values to life in this community. We're excited to welcome team members who share our passion for helping people achieve financial well-being. This role is 40 hours/week and is based in our Scarborough branch. What You’ll Do Greet members with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming branch environment Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers Educate members on credit union products and services, helping them make informed financial decisions Support new branch initiatives and community outreach as we establish our presence in Southern Maine Ensure compliance with credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements What We’re Looking For Prior cash-handling, customer service, or retail experience preferred Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt Ability to reliably be at work on time and as scheduled Why Join Us Be part of something new, and help us open and grow our new branch The hourly rate for this position is $22.75 Competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurances, retirement plans, disability coverage, and HSA contributions for enrolled participants PTO beginning at 15 days/year, and 11 paid holidays Supportive and adaptive leadership, with room for growth within a mission-driven organization We embrace the “people helping people” philosophy of credit unions, and are united by making a difference within the lives of our members and communities #J-18808-Ljbffr Dirigo Federal Credit Union
