Registered Dietitian (RD)

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD-eligible candidate to join our team. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing and monitoring residents' nutritional status, developing care plans, and providing recommendations to medical staff Evaluating residents' needs related to nutrition support, skin integrity, and weight management Coordinating procurement of nutrition supplies and oral supplements with vendors and department heads Monitoring meal service to ensure diet modifications are followed Educating residents, families, and staff about nutrition and diet modifications Reviewing and updating dietary care plans regularly for quality assurance Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to review residents’ care plans and ensure appropriate diets, especially for residents with dysphagia Overseeing menu changes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and updating diet orders in software systems Supervising dietary staff and conducting routine audits to maintain high standards of nutritional care Ensuring compliance with weight monitoring regulations and communicating effectively with the team to deliver quality resident care Qualifications And Skills Registered Dietitian credential Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics Exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines Computer literacy, including EMR software and menu systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
