Pet Groomer

Join Barkside Lodge as a Pet Groomer and become a pivotal part of our vibrant animal care team! We’re looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven person to skillfully bathe and style dogs according to their owners’ wishes. You earn commission-based pay, ranging from 40–60%, depending on experience. We’re flexible with scheduling, and you can take on a full- or part-time role. What We’re Looking For Our Pet Groomer works full- or part-time between the hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 1+ years of professional grooming experience or grooming school certification Excellent communication skills Ability to work comfortably with all dog breeds Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Ability to stand during the majority of your shift A Day in the Life of Our Pet Groomer You will work with a variety of breeds, shapes, and sizes of dogs, treating each pet kindly during your grooming sessions. You will consult animal owners about their preferred styling, then bathe, shave, trim, clean ears, trim nails, and perform other grooming tasks safely and professionally. You will ensure every animal looks amazing when the owner comes to pick them up.
