As a Medical Transportation Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients travel safely and comfortably using personal vehicles. You will transport patients across local, regional, and long-distance routes while providing basic patient care and assisting with boarding and disembarking. Working as part of a supportive transport team, your focus will be on maintaining safety, adhering to schedules, and delivering compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients using personal vehicles on local, regional, and long-distance routes
• Assist patients with boarding and disembarking before and after journeys
• Provide basic patient care and support during transit
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability
• Navigate routes efficiently to adhere to schedules
• Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients and the transport team
• Respond promptly and appropriately in emergency situations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in client transportation
• Defensive driving skills
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Time management proficiency
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Emergency response training
• Effective navigation abilities
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
