What You'll Do

Construction & Installation

• Build hardscape features, including patios, retaining walls, steps, pathways, and water features
• Install lawns, plants, sprinkler systems, and outdoor lighting
• Move and place materials such as rock, soil, pavers, and block safely and efficiently
• Follow project plans and your Foreman's direction to deliver quality finished work

Equipment & Safety

• Operate, or learn to operate, heavy equipment such as skid steers, track hoes, loaders, trenchers, compactors, and sod cutters
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows with proper technique
• Wear the required uniform and PPE, and follow all safety protocols

Teamwork

• Work closely with your crew to keep projects on schedule
• Speak up about progress, problems, and what the job needs
• Help with loading, site prep, and daily cleanup

What You Need

Required

• Previous professional landscape construction experience
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, climb, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs throughout the day
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain, around loud equipment, dust, and vibration
• Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for early start times
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver eligibility guidelines
• Knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants and materials
• Experience operating skid steers or other heavy equipment

Schedule & Location

• Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts starting between 6:00 and 7:00 am depending on the season
• Extra days/overtime may be required during peak season (mainly spring and summer)
• Occasional weekend work may be required
• Crews report to our Hillsboro location and travel in company vehicles to residential job sites across the region
