Software Engineer II, Channels

Responsibilities

• Build and scale Braze’s SMS and RCS messaging channels.
• Develop full-stack features spanning message composition, sending, responses, and analytics.
• Support Chat messaging through internal click tracking and link shortening services.
• Drive initiatives from concept through delivery and own key technical areas.
• Solve open-ended distributed-systems problems and help maintain platform dependability as traffic grows.
• Collaborate across teams and functions while communicating with peers and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and self-starting skills.
• Bonus experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience working with agile processes is a bonus.
