Position Summary
- Under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse, the Anesthesia Technician supports the Anesthesia Department by providing equipment and supplies in a timely manner for each OR case. Maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.
Education
- High School Diploma - Preferred
Experience
- 1 Year - Preferred
License & Certification
- Nursing Assistant Certification - Preferred
Core Job Functions
- Anesthesia equipment is maintained and cleaned. Facilitate resolution of issues that create barriers to delivery of care.
- Assigned cleaning and stocking is performed by the end of the shift. Work areas maintained in a clean, neat organized fashion. Supplies are used in a cost effective manner by minimizing waste and charging appropriate supplies to patient.
