Operations & Supply Planning Specialist

About The Role

The Operations & Supply Planner is a core member of our Operations team, owning supply planning and inventory management processes as part of our monthly S&OP process. Working closely with Demand Planning, this role translates demand plan outputs into clear supply recommendations, vendor forecasts, channel allocation and purchase orders that keep our hero and trending SKUs in stock. The ideal candidate is highly organized, Excel-savvy, with strong modeling skills, and comfortable managing vendor relationships across time zones with clear communication. This role reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

What You'll Do

Supply Planning & S&OP

• Own supply planning modeling in S&OP, identifying supply risks, constraints, and recommended actions. 
• Analyze supply scenarios and recommend actions to balance availability, investment, and stock-out risk. 
• Translate demand plan outputs into clear supply recommendations and vendor forecasts, including safety stock strategy on hero/trending SKUs and reorder point adjustments.

Vendor Management & Purchasing

• Create vendor forecasts based on the Supply Planning model output.
• Create Purchase Orders via QuickBooks or other ERP systems and send to vendors.
• Follow up on POs to ensure supply deadlines are met.
• Lead weekly calls with global vendors to review PO status and production timelines. 

Inventory Management & KPI Reporting

• Proactively monitor stock levels and provide early alerts on potential shortages to cross functional teams.
• Perform inventory allocation analysis for each channel (Sephora, TikTok Shop US and UK) and recommend allocation priorities based on demand, inventory availability, and business needs. 
• Manage and report monthly Operations/supply chain KPIs, including OTIF (on-time-in-full), service level, and stock-out calendar, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. 

Systems & Reporting & Special projects

• Assist with ERP implementation, including operations data clean-up and import
• Own the accuracy and integrity of key supply planning data, including the PO log, SKU master, lead-time assumptions, and inventory reporting. 

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in operations: planning, inventory management, supply chain.
• Able to turn data into clear recommendations and communicate supply risks, trade-offs, and proposed actions to cross-functional partners. 
• Highly analytical and obsessed with accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including modeling and data analysis. 
• A master communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. 
• Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment using Apple and Google Workspace.
• Preferred: Industry experience in CPG, beauty, fashion, or pharmaceutical experience.
• Bonus points: ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant supply chain certification.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
