Guest Room Attendant (Hotel Room Cleaning) $13.00 per hour The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is looking to hire full‑time Guest Room Attendants / Housekeepers for a luxury hotel/casino. The position offers comprehensive housekeeping training, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, direct deposit, holiday and vacation pay, and a diverse team that promotes from within. A Day in the Life of a Guest Room Attendant Act as the frontline, delivering positive experiences to guests. You arrive energized, ready to work efficiently with training and supplies, and provide friendly, engaging service that exceeds guest expectations. Report room discrepancies and maintenance problems to the supervisor. Replace room amenities, literature, and other items as directed by the supervisor and prescribed by brand standards. Qualifications for a Guest Room Attendant 21 years old or older Ability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform general cleaning tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and remaining on your feet for an entire shift. Customer service skills Previous commercial cleaning or hospitality experience is a plus. Job Duties Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance, and special requests from guests. Safety and Security: Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, use chemicals and equipment properly, wear gloves while cleaning guest rooms, and adhere to key control policies. Dependability: Consistently be at work and on time, attend scheduled meetings and appointments, and meet demands of the industry including work on holidays and weekends. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Six months of previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
