Job DescriptionJob Title: Marketing Coordinator II / Licensing Specialist\nLocation: Burbank, CA– Hybrid \n Duration: 3 months\n Payrate: $28/hr - $31/hr on W2\n\nJob Summary: \n• The Associate is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager overseeing Games, Puzzles, Vehicles, STEM, and Collectibles within the Toys team.\n• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of Three (3) years of experience with Category/Licensee Management, with a working knowledge of the licensing and retail landscape for Toys and Collectibles.\n• The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in building solid relationships both internally and externally, an entrepreneurial spirit, engaged in external and internal partners, and the breadth of skills required to help execute key initiatives & overall growth of Consumer Products Business.\n• The ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, highly organized and detail-oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit, to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. A proven track record in building solid relationships both internally and externally is\n• This role will be accountable for day-to-day support of key licensee businesses including coordinating internal and external meetings, liaising with internal stakeholders including Finance, Product Development, Franchise Management, and Retail Business Development in order to maximize the licensed Toys and Collectibles business across the portfolio of brands.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n• Assists in management of sub-category initiatives, revenue plan and execution\n• Supports Manager in preparation of quarterly forecast and annual budget\n• Assists in managing contracts from inception through execution\n• Interfaces with internal stakeholders to provide category information in support of key initiatives\n• Communicates regularly with licensees and act as key point of contact in daily relationship management\n• Supports day-to-day management of key licensees and category initiatives across Games, Puzzles, STEM/STEAM, Vinyl, and Vehicles that drive licensing revenue.\n• Maintains strong licensee relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and day-to-day support, ensuring consistent execution and licensee satisfaction.\n• Ensures timely execution of licensee’s marketing programs, franchise initiatives, retailer opportunities, social media activations, and product launches.\n• Assist in deal execution from contract initiation through internal approvals and execution; helps to mitigate/prevent delays that can impact product launches and revenue.\n• Supports forecasting\n• Coordinates across key stakeholders: Finance, Product Development, Franchise Management, Retail Business Development, and regional teams to drive alignment, resolve issues, maintain business continuity, and execute key growth initiatives.\n\nMust Have Skills / Requirements\n1) Strong interpersonal skills (verbal communication)\na. 3+ years; The Associate will be interfacing consistently with external partners and collaborators to facilitate day-to-day functions.\n2) Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and follow through\na. 3+ years; The Associate will be handling multiple inquiries from partners regularly. We require a candidate who is strong in finding answers, acknowledging requests, and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.\n3) Strong Organization Skills (Project Management skills)\na. 3+ years; The Associate will be managing multiple projects via separate channels from day-to-day within a fast-paced environment.\n\nNice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements\n1) Ability to create pitch/presentations\n\nSoft Skills:\n1) Basic licensing industry knowledge with intellectual curiosity\n2) Ability to take direction and assist Manager in executing strategic and operational plan\n3) Basic understanding of financial forecasts and budgets\n4) Detail oriented self-starter\n5) Strong collaboration and partnership skills\n6) Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally\n7) Effective written and oral communication skills\n8) Strong organizational/leadership and planning skills required\n\nTechnology Requirements:\n1) Strong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)\n2) Airtable experience\n3) Tableau experience\n\nEducation / Certifications\n1) BA/BS degree in business or related field required
