Step into a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 academic year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working full-time, 35-37.5 hours weekly, near Columbia, MO. This unique opportunity spans both a special education preschool and an elementary school environment, offering varied experience throughout the academic year.

Your professional expertise will be vital in supporting students’ communication development across multiple age groups. The split position promises diverse caseloads and the ability to impact children’s educational journeys from early childhood through elementary school.

Qualifications:

• Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Experience within a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of support strategies for diverse student populations
• Commitment to effective collaboration with staff, educators, and families
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working across different school environments

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and interventions in both a preschool and an elementary setting
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Document all services, progress, and recommendations according to district protocols
