Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Mesquite, TX and Farmers Branch, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days - 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM (flexible schedule); On-call requirement involves rotating call 12-15 days per month including every other weekend.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in the Interventional Radiology department, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The RN will float between two facilities and be responsible for a variety of nursing duties including patient assessments, medication administration, and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform assessments and administer medications as per protocols.
• Assist physicians and healthcare team members during procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Texas.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preference given to those with Interventional Radiology experience.
• Current Nursys report (within the last 30 days).
