Material Planner

Procurement Data AnalystThe primary responsibilities will be supporting the procurement department in data analysis, communication, assisting in developing data supported efficiency improvements, and supplier development.Essential Functions:1. Cost Savings and Efficiency Projects – 35%Collect and analyze site-wide data, including defining, measuring, and tracking categories for spending to support procurement decision-makingExtensive communication between intercompany suppliers, buyers, and design.Create and update detailed process instructions to support risk management and efficiency.2. Supplier/Product Setup and Maintenance – 35%Assist purchasing create new products with supporting data and check for duplicates.Assist purchasing create new suppliers and assist in supplier assessment.Review old products, correct setup issues, add missing data3. Other – 30%Occasional buyer support including placing purchase order requests, negotiating, etc.Detailed report reviewMonitor and adjust safety stock levels based off usage and lead timesEducation/Knowledge/Skill Requirements:Minimum bachelor's degree required4 years related experience in procurement, finance, etc. may replace college education.Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Good MS Office Skills including Excel, and data management experience.4 years' Management Experience in manufacturing environmentStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow in an efficient way.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
