Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Night Shift

Responsibilities Quail Run Behavioral Health – Phoenix, AZ – Now Hiring! Night Shift Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The BHT works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure. Assit with Vistation in the evenings. Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals. Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient. Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment. Qualifications Job Requirements: Experience working in a behavioral health care setting with adolescents High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years Current CPR or BLS certification Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
