About the Position

This is an opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. We are looking for a skilled clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout their birthing journey.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent, acute care experience as an LDRP RN is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!

  • Experience providing Vaginal Exam Ability/Experience is essential.

  • Proficiency and experience in Baby Care Ability/Experience is required.

  • Must have experience working in units with a wide range of annual births, from <100 Births to >300 Births .

• Certifications: Active and current certification in the following are mandatory:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • AWHONN Advanced

  • NRP Advanced (Certification must include proficiency in all 11 required components of the Advanced course)

  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)

• Licensure: An active, unencumbered state RN license is required. Pending licenses are not accepted.

• Staffing Ratio: The typical nurse-to-patient ratio in this unit is 1:2 .
