How will this role have an impact?

We are looking for a creative and skilled Senior Analyst, Business Analytics, to join our team at Signify. We're hiring for the Clinical Engagement Platform Team, where our goal is to move care into the home. This role requires strong communication and advanced SQL skills to find creative solutions for data challenges. You'll perform impact analyses to ensure a strong return on investment for our team and management partners.

You'll work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and operations leads, to develop a deep understanding of business problems, define and track metrics, and provide high-quality analytics deliverables supporting our Diagnostic Preventative Services (DPS) products. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a highly motivated team dedicated to solving the most challenging problems in the US healthcare system.

This role will report to the Manager of Business Analytics, HCS Clinical Analytics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop an expert level understanding of Signify' s core product offerings and analytics technology.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from large databases for analysis and predictive modeling
• Provide clinical insights through analyzing data including HCCs, Claims (ICD10, CPT, POS, etc), and HEDIS measures.
• Define, track, report out, and explain metrics representing the value of the product.
• Develop ad hoc analysis, dashboards, and visualizations to help non-technical consumers easily understand data correlations.
• Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
• Deliver defined HCS Clinical Analytics work on time and with high quality.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with stakeholders to execute strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science, or analytics role.- Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in understanding, representing, and communicating data-driven analysis to various departments by taking data and telling a story.

• 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries with strong understanding of databases and ETL processes.
• 2 to 3 years' experience stakeholder management. Demonstrates active listening skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in preparing queries and report templates for dashboard and visualization creation in Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with healthcare claims data.
• 2 to 3 years familiarity with ICD10/CPT coding
• Expert level MS Office (Macros and Pivot tables)
• Ability to navigate setbacks in a calm, creative, and consistent manner.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Be a "thought partner" with direct manager.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of time for team meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Past healthcare experience with risk adjustment, quality metrics, and care management.
• 2 to 3 years project management experience
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial offerings.
• Statistical modeling experience is a plus.
• Experience with Python is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
