About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Must have a permanent Ohio license in hand at the time of submission. Active certifications with nothing pending. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required. Description: Auto offer for a night shift position. Requires three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Essential duties involve providing nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. Candidates must have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with patients and their families. The role includes maintaining patient safety and comfort during care delivery. Nurses may be required to perform assessments, create care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The position may involve the use of specialized monitoring equipment and technology to care for patients. All applicants must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Background checks will be conducted, and any related issues will be reviewed by the facility. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements is mandatory for most travelers, while nurses are exempt. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary. Extensions may be available based on client needs and circumstances.
