CMM Programmer

CMM ProgrammerOur client is an innovative medical device manufacturer with a strong commitment to quality and process excellence. They are currently expanding their quality assurance team due to sustained growth and are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support their manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Developing, maintaining, and validating CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections.Programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to verify component compliance.Interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.Performing and documenting First Article Inspections (FAIs) to qualify new parts and processes.Supporting Engineering by developing effective inspection methods and documentation.Maintaining all CMM equipment, including probe qualifications and the program library.Troubleshooting quality issues, investigating non-conformances, and recommending process improvements.Training CMM operators and assisting in the development of clear work instructions.Candidate ProfileWe are seeking candidates with:Essential ExperienceA minimum of three years of hands-on CMM programming experience.A strong, practical understanding and application of GD&T principles.Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.Proficiency with a range of precision measuring tools.Desirable ExperienceExperience within a regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR Part 820).Familiarity with SolidWorks.Previous experience using ERP systems.Why Join?This is an opportunity to:Join a stable, growing company committed to quality, innovation, and employee success.Benefit from on-the-job training and clear opportunities for career advancement.Enjoy a consistent schedule with the option for overtime.Play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of life-changing medical products.PackageBase salary: Circa $93,600 per annum (plus 2nd shift differential)Bonus: To be confirmedBenefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, FREE Dental, FREE Vision, FREE Life, FREE Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance, 401(k) with generous company match, paid holidays, and vacation.Location: Mooresville, North CarolinaTravel requirements: NoneApplyFor a confidential discussion or to apply for this opportunity, please submit your CV.Due to the volume of applications, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
